Iron Chef Competition Returns – October 6 2018
This special day at the market is learning about what dishes can be made with local fruits, produce, meats and fishes from the market. 2016 we did a fun competition – around noontime we will be do some season-related recipes. Tag this event as #WFMHealthy, #WFMrecipes.
2016 had local chefs cook up a storm. The Chef Contestants were:
- Jonathan Jolicoeur of Bistro 5
- Laura Lewis & Matthew Redinger of Essex Catering
- Jesse Meyer-Mino & Oscar Palacios of Blackhorse Tavern
- Andrew Tate of TWK, The Waterfield Kitchen.
Celebrity Judges included Lori Schaefer of Pairings Wine & Food
and Judy Manzo of Bookends. Master of Ceremonies was Tom Howley.
Black Horse Tavern won the contest, but all dishes were delicious.
