Volunteer at the Farmers Market

The market begins the second Saturday of June to last Saturday of October. Volunteers are also welcome to participate in the various planning and weekly activities necessary for running the market.


Volunteer to:

  • Help set up tents before the market (8:30-9:30am), and take down at the end (1:30 – 2:30pm) .
  • Be Creative: take photos, write stories, and help with other aspects of the market.
  • Be a greeter at the market
  • Help with Kid’s Table 
  • Food Recovery Collection: Vendors at the Winchester Farmers Market generously donate produce to two Woburn organizations: the Dwelling Place Soup Kitchen and  the Anchor Baptist Church Food Pantry.
    Sign up to deliver on one or more Saturdays.
  • Food Security: Join the Anna’s Fund Committee to raise funds for the program and/or to help spread the word to Winchester and Woburn families who need food assistance.

We need people to volunteer to get food after the market for the Dwelling Place in Woburn – you can do it once a month, or just once. Contact us

High School students:

  • Join the Farmers Market Club at Winchester High School 
    • The Winchester High School Farmers Market Club is dedicated to connecting the youth generation with the Winchester community by helping out at the local market, and engaging in volunteer opportunities.
  • Join the Bridge to Connect Club (BriCo) to help with translating for Chinese patrons at the market
    • BriCo’s mission is to connect people with diversified backgrounds together and to build a better community around us.
